Jamie Marie is the founder of Your Mother’s Medicine and a citizen of the Cherokee Nation residing in Black Mountain NC. 

Jamie began working with plant medicines because of a personal health crisis. While living overseas doing philanthropic work in East Africa, she had recurring struggles with Malaria and developed a resistance to all antibiotics prescribed. Western medicine had failed her and she was told to expect recurrent outbreaks whenever her immune system was down.. 

She knew there had to be a better way. Using diet and plant medicines, and energetic medicine she fully healed her body! Thus began her journey with the plant allies…

An Odyssey that led her around the world learning from Indigenous tribes and sharing music and medicine. 

Jamie is a mother to two beautiful children and a descendant of Nanyehi, Beloved Woman of the Cherokee. .
